This Kia Sedona wheelchair accessible vehicle conversion has had a huge change from the previous model. Mostly a copy of the popular Chrysler Town & Country it is similar in size, but does not have the large price tag. Available both as a Family and Passenger Wheelchair Conversion, there is lots of room. This vehicle is available in 2 types, the standard and the premium conversions. The standard model has some height and width restrictions and will suite a wheelchair not wider then 2 feet where the lowered tray has been designed to fit over the original rear suspension leaving a slope and a hump on the lowered floor. The premium model however has a complete flat floor because of Freedom Motors unique rear suspension system making it even easier to get in and out of the vehicle and will suite the medium to taller wheelchair occupants with the minimum restrictions.
Many options are available for this wheelchair vehicle conversion. Reversing sensors, reversing mirror / camera system, side steps, fold-down double seat, electric wheelchair restraints, electric opening and closing ramp, remote opening and closing tailgate and ramp system and offcourse our very popular Wheelchair Docking System designed by Freedom Amcar Motors, eliminating any use of wheelchair tie-down straps resulting in locking and releasing the wheelchair in only seconds with no bending instead of minutes with lots of kneeling and bending.
